Dopplr. It’s the goods. I’ve kept mine updated throughout my travels, and I’ve realised how handy it would be if my fellow travellers used it as well… So what are you waiting for?
If you’re not really a traveller, then just look at my pretty profile
I actually like the site as an example of good, clean and clever web design.

With 5 episodes, I’m beginning to think that this is the longest I’ve ever kept on with a series of posts, but rest assured, it’s not stopping here. Last night Alex, AJ and I recorded Episode 6, and we might work on another one later on.

No video this time, unfortunately I’m suffering from a lack of internet, supplied or stealable at my hostel in Barcelona. We’re going out hunting for some wireless today so I can post the last of the London series (which includes an attempt at outside, even before Chuz asked for one), and I’ll talk to Alex and AJ about recording a new one, and we’ll do that outside as well if we can find a satisfactory location.
We got to Barcelona in the early afternoon, and we walked the wrong way to the Metro station, then we got on the train and got off at the correct stop, and then walked the wrong way twice more before getting to our hostel. Of course, while were walking around with packs on, the sun was beating down and I was sweating like a pig. We got up to the hostel eventually, dumped bags, and went out to get our bearings and it was looking very ominous.
Of course, that ominous look was added to by the ominous sound of thunder and before long we were all drenched to the bone. I’m a fan of drenched to the bone, but I get the feeling that Alex definitely isn’t and I don’t think AJ is terribly partial to it either. Anyhow, I enjoyed that little bit of Barcelona.

Some of you may already know that I'm travelling. I would have mentioned that earlier, but I've been busy with other things.
Anywho, below is my itinerary, in map form.
What that basically says is that I'm in London until the 4th, then I head with two of my friends, Alex and AJ, to Barcelona until the 10th, wherein we head to Rome. From Rome, I think we'll head back to London and subsequently I'll be back in Frankfurt on the 19th to fly down to Johannesburg, then to Cape Town.
From Cape Town, I'll head to a two called Worchester, where I'll be doing youth work for seven weeks, before heading back to Sydney via Perth, landing in Perth on the 11th of December.
I've been doing a little bit of video blogging, so stay tuned for some of those.

I was talking to one of my friends the other day about my urge to travel after finishing school, after a bit of conversation regarding this post. He was really psyched by the idea of travelling to places, which are not on every teen’s wish list. He’s got a fair bit of interest in photography, so the whole photographic destination thing came into play.
On my recent trip to South Africa, I found that I enjoy taking photos of people as well, so long as they’re candid photos (that’s where my 70-300mm lens really comes in handy. And I’d love to capture some of what I see, people and things, along my travels. I suppose that is some of my motivation too.
Basically, we only really had three destinations when we spoke. I had India and Cambodia, and he had China. Recently East Timor was added to that list, but it’s still kind of short. BlogMad is pushing a whole bunch of traffic past this post, so I was wondering if you madmen (and women) might post some suggested destinations. Places you don’t normally find on the tourist maps.
